I agree with your post. It would be nice to make a conscious decision to where our tax dollars go.

I was thinking of something along the same lines. However far-fetched, the idea was similar in that we could choose how to appropriate our tax dollars and to which causes i.e. infrastructure, national defense, education, etc. sort of like how we choose how to distribute our 401k money into different funds. We could be given a "list" on our tax returns and the elements of this list could be decided by something like the survey that you posted about.

Since there's really no way around the new big-government "distributing the wealth" trend at the very least we could determine which things are deserving of our money.

This is a common curse for many entrepreneurs. I've worked with several over the years and it is best to focus on one thing and get it running smooth as silk so things are for the most part automated.

The internet and all of the available platforms provides tremendous opportunities for everyone, they just need to do their research to discover what people want.

Check out Google's keyword tool to see what I'm talking about. Just by analyzing the keywords that are being searched the most will help you narrow down your many directions.

Happy trails.

I heard Timberlake's Tequilla was invented by the government with the cooperation of the FDA. In either case, I'll drink it like a son of a gun.

I say we drink to that in 3 weeks time... I will be bringing an example of private innovation in the form of Justin Timberlakes new tequilla 901...and then we will use it for the greater good of society in WVA :)
