Carnegie - by Peter Krass
This biography on the industrial titan, Andrew Carnegie, is enthralling and intriguing. Krass explores how Carnegie’s upbringing led him to future success as one of the preeminent capitalists of his time, while often contradicting his liberal and radicalist ancestry through his treatment of the men that worked for him. Offering a relatively balanced view of the man from both ends of the political spectrum, this biography provides a comprehensive view of Carnegie’s personal and business life.

Atlas Shrugged

Anyone interested in learning about capitalism in its purest form would find this book fascinating. Atlas Shrugged shows what the world would be like if capitalist fundamentals were to erode within the greater society, and proves that the ideal society is one where each man lives for his own life, and not for the sake of others.

The 5000 Year Leap
The 5000 Year Leap is a simple, yet brilliant book. Written almost 30 years ago, but carrying so much significance in today’s society, it’s hard to put down. Author W. Cleon Skousen outlines the principles that shaped the founding of the United States of America, and details why the US has been so successful both on a social and economical scale.
